As operational part of the GEMS/Water Programme of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), GEMStat is hosted by the GEMS/Water Data Centre (GWDC) within the International Centre for Water Resources and Global Change (ICWRGC) in Koblenz, Germany.
